CPE points for "Attending degree courses"

Hi all,

I've got a short question. I've looked at the ISC2 CPE handbook and didn’t find the right answer:

"Education
Group A and B"
"Attending degree courses” A or B

My questions is as follows:

As I understand it, that includes a university degree, i.e. higher education courses.
1. What is the best way to calculate the CPE points? Should one do this per semester (Isaca has a fixed amount per semester), or should per hour?

2. Let’s say that I am enrolled in a 30-hours higher education course as part of my degree programme, in addition to writing a dissertation, in which I can invest long hours.
I'm wondering whether this will be considered as an additional hours of "Contributions to the profession” A or B?, to the 30-hour course?

* I know about the limit of 40 hours per topic / subject.

Thanks on advance,
A.M
